For Sale: Audi Cabriolet – reduced to £1995

July 30th, 2011 Comments off

For Sale, 1996 Audi Cabriolet, 2.0e manual gearbox.

Serviced, timing belt and new clutch 500 miles ago, 10 months MOT, 5 months tax, new dics and pads all round, 4 brand new tyres, new battery, full re-spray, immaculate interior, all alloys refurbished. Fully working power hood.

The car has covered 115,000 miles. I purchased the car last year to work on it in my spare time to restore it to a high standard.

The car has had new discs and pads front and rear. It has had 4 brand new tyres fitted. It HAS BEEN MOT’d this week so has a full ticket. I have all the service history for the car with receipts for timing belt change in May 2010 at 114k miles. The service book has stamps at 7.5k, 18k, 27.5k, 36.5k, 46.5k, 61k, 69k, 73k, 81.8k, 114.5k on 12/05/2010. The car has covered less then 200 miles since its service and cambelt change in May 2010. When this work was undertaken, the clutch was also replaced too.

The car has had a full re-spray, alloys fully refurbished, inner arch and suspension restoration, boot pan underside painted and the car underneath has been fully under sealed. The car has had a full detail, including engine bay and interior. The half leather interior is immaculate. I have treated the leather and it is in fabulous condition. I have put new tailor fit mats into the car, purchased to fit the original Audi mat studs.

The hood is the original electric power roof. The rear screen has been replaced at some point in the car’s life and is in very good condition with no holes. The hood has had a repair and is about inch and half long. It does not leak, or affect the roof performance. I have cleaned the roof and treated it with water proofer to ensure the roof is in the best condition for the new owner.

The car has a single CD stereo fitted, with USB feature. I bought the car and drove it back to Rochdale, it drives extremely well,no squeaks or rattles. Feel welcome to contact me with any questions. The car is stored indoors in Rochdale near J20 M62.

Having enjoyed my time working on the car it is for sale at a most generous price of just £1995.00. Contact Iain on 07870 503197 to discuss further..

Aston Martin Vantage V12 New Car Preparation

July 30th, 2011 Comments off

This car was booked in by one of my existing customers to have a new car preparation. As you can see from the photographs there is a massive difference between what Aston Martin Dealership consider acceptable and my standards! This car is just one week old and has not been washed or had any treatment after leaving the dealership.

Here I have used some masking tape across the boot lid, machine polished up to the tape and then removed it. This enables you to see just how much difference can be made to a new car.

On the rear quarter you can see the ghosting lines and buffer trails.

Its even more obvious on the rear bumper:

After I have machine polished the rear bumper properly:

This picture helps to show the colour change where the bumper has been machined, the rear quarter not. Now he has a black car, not a slightly grey one.

A close up afterwards to show the finsihed result:

And lots of completed shots:
